Everything we do starts with listening and making sure the person in front of us understands what happens next.
Spring Lodge Centre is Lincolnshire's Sexual Assault Referral Centre, offering a caring, non-judgemental service to people who have experienced rape, sexual assault and sexual abuse. The centre's purpose is to support adults and people aged 18 and over, working alongside police and other agencies so that each person is told what support is available and what choices they can make. Staff treat every call with sensitivity and confidentiality, aiming to empower survivors by informing them clearly about the options open to them.
The centre provides a range of practical and emotional support for anyone who has been sexually assaulted, including those who have been assaulted by a friend, relative, partner or colleague, and for people who are unsure what happened or are still feeling unsure or afraid to come forward. Trained staff are available to talk things through, answer questions and offer reassurance in a safe environment where the person's comfort, safety and dignity are treated as the priority throughout every stage of the service.
A clear referral pathway is central to how the centre works. People can be referred by police, healthcare professionals and other professionals, and each referral is handled with care and respect. Where there is a risk of danger, staff work closely with emergency services, and the centre's advisers can also visit other locations to talk with clients or patients in person. Information about the service, referral routes and other helpful external websites are published so that survivors and those supporting them can find the right next step.
About the centre pages also explain the people behind the service, the team and facilities involved in supporting survivors, and the age range the service covers. Alongside this information you will find frequently asked questions, leaflets and posters, including materials published for professionals such as GPs, nurses and other health and support staff, so they know how to respond when someone discloses sexual violence. A privacy policy, cookie notice and accessibility-minded design reflect the centre's commitment to providing a safe, reassuring experience for visitors at any time.
We are here to help any adult who has been raped, sexually assaulted or abused. Nobody is judged for what has happened, and every call is handled with care.
Our Independent Sexual Violence Advisors give practical and emotional support, so people can decide what they want to do and when.
Dedicated support is available for children and adolescents under 18, with a Child and Young Persons Questionnaire available for feedback.
