Referring into Spring Lodge
Spring Lodge Centre is Lincolnshire’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre. Professionals can refer clients into the service, and self-referrals are also accepted.

More contact options and support resources
Spring Lodge Centre is Lincolnshire's Sexual Assault Referral Centre, supporting adults and people aged 18 or over who have experienced sexual assault. The service offers specialist help from a team of trained and experienced professionals, and both professional referrals and self-referrals are accepted. This page explains how you can refer a client into the service and what happens for them afterwards, so that anyone supporting a survivor has clear, practical information at hand.
Referring someone into Spring Lodge is a straightforward process. When a referral is received, a specially trained member of the team will contact the person referred and work with them to explore the options available, at a pace and in a way that suits them. Throughout, the emphasis is on choice, privacy and dignity, so that the person referred feels heard, respected and in control of what happens next in their support journey.
You may be supporting a friend, relative, colleague, client or patient, and you might be unsure how best to help. The information here is designed to answer the questions professionals commonly ask, including what a referral involves, what support is available afterwards, and who can be contacted in emergencies. You do not need to have all the answers yourself; simply sharing the service details can be a valuable first step.
Resources such as leaflets, posters and published guidance are available to help you understand the service and signpost others confidently. External websites and other organisations may also be useful references, and where a person has immediate danger, emergency services are the appropriate route rather than a referral. Advice given by Spring Lodge Centre is confidential, and privacy policies apply to all information held about individuals using the service.
Spring Lodge Centre also welcomes questions from professionals at any time, whether you are making a first referral or seeking ongoing advice about how to support someone you are worried about. The team can explain the referral pathway, answer queries about age and eligibility, and discuss what support looks like in practice, helping you feel confident that the person you are supporting will be treated with care, assurance and compassion.
